Job summary

Pinpoint Asia is partnering with a leading financial services institution in Malaysia to transform its learning and development function. The role sits at the centre of an ongoing learning transformation programme, providing delivery and governance leadership to ensure scoping, timelines and quality across internal stakeholders and an external implementation partner.

You will run governance forums, monitor progress, and maintain rigorous project discipline, coordinating HR, CoE and HR Tech teams

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in HR projects, HR transformation, change management, HR operations, or related project delivery roles.
• Fundamentals of project management: planning, scheduling, risk and issue management.
• Experience supervising a team or leading specialist work within HR projects, process improvement, or systems/organisational change initiatives.
• Strong quality control instincts and attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including with senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organisational Development, Project Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project management practices aligned with HR goals and establish standardised project frameworks.
• Organise and facilitate governance forums (Design Authority, Steering Committee) to drive design alignment.
• Monitor timelines and surface delays before escalation.
• Oversee the work of the implementation consultant, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across CoE, local HR, and HR Tech teams.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with PM methodologies and best practices.
