Job summary

Western Digital Corporation is seeking an IT Developer to design, code, test and install software for HR projects. You will collaborate with HR SMEs on requirements analysis and system design to deliver effective solutions before deployment.

The role requires analytical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in IT/CS or equivalent; work experience may substitute education.
• 1–2 years of recent experience in requirements analysis and software development.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Working knowledge of HR processes, policies and procedures is preferred.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing needs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support the company’s HR & Payroll application system.
• Participate in system design, writing and implementing efficient code.
• Conduct and facilitate UAT and testing to ensure reliable solutions.
• Maintain and upgrade existing systems.
• Manage Workday configuration for Recruiting, Compensation, Performance, and Talent Management.
