Job summary

ASE Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang offers an HR internship to assist with recruitment, onboarding and HR administration. The role includes coordinating interviews, preparing onboarding documents, and supporting HR projects while maintaining professional communication in English, Mandarin and Malay.

The internship period is 3–6 months. You will also help prepare basic HR reports and provide general administrative support to the HR team.

Qualifications

• Diploma & Degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit
• Fluency in English, Mandarin & Malay (written and spoken) and computer literacy are mandatory.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Internship period between 3-6 months and kindly indicate your internship duration/period date in your CV or Cover Letter

Responsibilities

• Assist the HR team with day-to-day operations across recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.
• Assist in coordinating interviews and communicate with candidates in a professional manner.
• Support onboarding activities by preparing documents and helping facilitate orientation sessions.
• Support HR projects such as employee experience improvements or employer-branding activities.
• Prepare basic HR reports and help gather data for recruitment.
• Provide general administrative support to HR team.
