Job summary

SummitNext in Malaysia is seeking one proactive and responsible HR Intern to join the Human Resources team and provide administrative and operational support.

The interns will work closely with the HR team to support daily HR activities, employee documentation, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave administration and other HR-related tasks. The role is designed to provide additional team support during temporary manpower needs.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of HR processes.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the HR team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HR administration tasks and maintaining employee records.
• Support attendance, leave administration, and HR documentation.
• Help with recruitment documentation and onboarding.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes and HRIS updates.
• Respond to general employee queries and maintain confidentiality.
• Support employee engagement activities and internal communications.
• Provide general HR support and assist with audits and projects.
