Job summary

YCH LOGISTICS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD seeks an enthusiastic HR Intern in Shah Alam to assist with job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding coordination, gaining hands-on exposure to the full recruitment process.

You will support HR administration, attendance tracking, employee records, and engagement activities while developing professional skills in a fast-paced logistics environment within a regional leader in supply chain solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's in HRM, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information professionally.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in job posting on recruitment platforms and social media.
• Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on hiring requirements.
• Coordinate interview arrangements with candidates and hiring managers.
• Prepare interview documents and maintain recruitment records.
• Support campus recruitment and university engagement activities.
• Prepare onboarding documents and new hire files.
• Assist in orientation sessions for new employees.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure completion of required documentation.
• Update employee information in HR systems.
• Maintain and update employee records and databases.
• Assist in preparing HR letters, contracts, and relevant documentation.
• Support attendance tracking and leave administration.
• Ensure proper filing of HR documents in compliance with company policies.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, events, and wellness programs.
• Support internal communication initiatives.
• Gather feedback from employees and assist in engagement surveys.
• Compile recruitment and workforce data for reporting purposes.
• Support HR metrics tracking such as hiring turnaround time and headcount reports.
• Assist in salary benchmarking and market survey data collection when required.
• Coordinate training schedules and logistics.
• Maintain training records and attendance reports.
• Support employee development initiatives and learning programs.
