Job summary

The GMP Group is seeking a Human Resources Executive in Malaysia to drive end-to-end HR processes including recruitment, payroll, onboarding, benefits administration and policy updates. You will ensure adherence to Malaysian regulations and company policies while supporting the full employee lifecycle.

The role requires 2-3 years in recruitment with strong payroll knowledge, HRIS proficiency and solid employee relations experience. Manufacturing background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in recruitment and manpower planning.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
• Familiarity with employee benefits and insurance administration
• Understanding of Malaysian employment laws and regulations
• Proficiency in HR systems and data management
• Ability to handle employee relations and resolve workplace issues
• Experience with performance management and appraisal processes
• Knowledge of foreign worker and expatriate administration where applicable
• Preferably in manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment process from manpower requisition, job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, selection and offer preparation
• Liaise with recruitment agencies and external parties for recruitment activities
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including medical check-up, reference checks and required documentation
• Manage monthly payroll processing and ensure payroll information is accurate and submitted within the required timeline
• Verify attendance, overtime, leave, allowances, deductions and other payroll-related information
• Process statutory contributions and submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB
• Administer employee benefits, including Group Hospitalisation & Surgical (GHS), Group Personal Accident (GPA), medical benefits and other company benefits
• Coordinate insurance renewal, employee additions/deletions and claims with insurance providers or brokers
• Handle day-to-day employee enquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment-related matters
• Develop, review and update HR policies, procedures, SOPs and employee handbook as required
