Job summary

TECHOM METAL SDN BHD in Bukit Minyak, Penang is seeking a Human Resource Executive for a full-time role. You will manage employee relations, support recruitment and onboarding, and ensure compliant HR operations.

You will maintain HR records, assist in policy development, coordinate training, and help payroll and benefits. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is needed; Mandarin is an advantage. A Diploma or Degree in HR or Business is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in industrial and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and labour regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR management systems.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day employee relations matters, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
• Provide support in recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring smooth integration of new employees into the organisation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate training and development programmes to support employee growth and skill enhancement.
• Liaise with management and employees to address workplace concerns and foster a positive working environment.
• Support payroll and benefits administration activities.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations and company standards.
• Contribute to HR initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to support decision-making at management level.
