Job summary

BR Convenience Store Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Business Partner to guide management and outlet teams with HR strategies and execution. You will lead recruitment for a large, multi-outlet network and coordinate onboarding while aligning HR solutions with business needs.

You will handle employee relations, payroll coordination, training, and performance management, ensuring adherence to Malaysian laws and company policies. Travel to outlets will be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in MNC, retail, F&B, or multi-outlet business.
• Experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager is an advantage.
• Experience managing a large workforce and multiple locations is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and work closely with management.
• Comfortable supporting shift-based and 24-hour operations.
• Willing to travel to outlets when required.
• Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Act as HR Business Partner to management and business teams, providing HR advice and support.
• Manage the full recruitment process, from manpower planning to onboarding.
• Handle recruitment for 150 chain stores, including shift-based and 24-hour operations.
• Work closely with management and outlet teams to ensure sufficient manpower.
• Conduct interviews, manage job offers, and coordinate new employee onboarding.
• Understand business needs and provide suitable HR solutions to support company growth.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and staff welfare.
• Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian employment laws and company policies.
• Manage employee performance, training, development, and engagement.
• Support talent management and succession planning.
• Handle salary reviews, employee benefits, insurance, and welfare programmes.
• Oversee HR operations, including payroll coordination, HR records, HR reports, and HRIS.
• Monitor manpower and provide HR reports and insights to management.
• Review and improve HR policies, employee handbook, and HR procedures.
• Organize employee engagement activities and company events.
• Supervise general office administration, facilities, vendors, procurement, and company assets.
• Support workplace health and safety requirements.
• Willing to travel to outlets when required.
• Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by management.
