Job summary

Maxis in Malaysia is offering an HR Business Partner Intern role designed to give hands-on exposure to performance improvement plans, data accuracy, and People Solutions initiatives within a fast-paced HR team. You will collaborate with managers and HR colleagues to support BAU requests, maintain organizational data, and help drive the people strategy while developing practical HR Operations skills.

Internships start in Nov for up to 6 months; applicants should clearly state their availability

Qualifications

• PIP management: engage managers, track status, coordinate with CER for actions.
• Org chart cleanup: HR system reflects accurate org chart; coordinate updates with People Services.
• BAU HR support: handle HR requests (job changes, benefits) and coordinate with CoEs.

Responsibilities

• Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) Management: Engage and follow up with managers to ensure timely implementation and tracking of PIPs and maintain records of PIP statuses and collaborate with the CER team for necessary actions.
• People and Transformation Org Chart Cleanup: Ensure the HR system reflects an accurate organizational chart, and coordinate with the People Services team to make updates or changes as needed
• Business-As-Usual (BAU) HR Support: Handle various HR requests such as job changes and benefit-related queries, and coordinate with the respective Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for resolution where applicable.

Role Overview

Join Maxis as an HR Business Partner Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting HR processes and initiatives. This role involves working closely with managers and HR teams to manage performance improvement plans, maintain organizational data accuracy, and helping the HR Business Partner Lead to execute People Solutions that help the business to achieve their business goals. You’ll also handle various business-as-usual (BAU) requests, ensuring seamless HR operations.

Key Responsibilities
