Job summary

U1 International is seeking a diligent Human Resources and Administrative Support professional in Kuala Lumpur. You will handle payroll processing, HR documentation, and staff records while coordinating training and performance activities.

The role also covers general administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will have a HR/Business-related degree, solid English, and 3–4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Finance, Business Admin or related field.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Good command of English; Mandarin a plus.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
  • Willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.
  • Preferably 3–4 years of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly payroll and handle EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRD levy submissions.
  • Maintain and update employee personal files, attendance, and leave records.
  • Prepare employment letters, confirmation letters, and other HR-related documents.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate staff training or development programs.
  • Monitor employee performance and assist in KPI or appraisal processes.
  • Handle staff grievances, disciplinary actions, and employee welfare activities.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with Malaysian labour laws and regulations.
  • Support management in manpower planning and employee engagement programs.
  • Perform other HR administrative duties and tasks assigned by the management.
  • Manage job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Manage office supplies, stationery, and office maintenance.
  • Prepare official letters, memos, and correspondence.
  • Handle company licensing, insurance, and renewal matters.
  • Support management in organizing meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks assigned by management.
