Private Advertiser seeks an experienced Factory HR professional to oversee day-to-day HR activities at the plant and act as the main HR contact for staff, supervisors and department heads. The role covers dispute handling, recruitment, foreign worker administration, hostel management and payroll support.
The successful candidate will have 5–8 years in HR/admin, strong knowledge of Malaysian HR practices and the ability to work independently at the Pulau Indah, Klang factory site, with a 5.5-day
Factory HR & Employee Relations – Oversee day-to-day HR activities at the factory and serve as a key HR contact for employees, supervisors and Department Heads.
Employee Relations & Disciplinary Matters – Assist in handling employee misconduct, absenteeism, grievances, investigations, warning/show-cause letters and disciplinary cases.
Recruitment & Manpower Administration – Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and manpower requirements for local and foreign factory workers.
Foreign Worker Management – Manage foreign worker documentation, permits, quota applications, renewals, records and related government/agency matters.
Factory Hostel Management – Oversee worker accommodation, occupancy, inspections, maintenance, tenancy matters, utilities and related administration.
Security & Company Vehicle Administration – Monitor security manpower, attendance and service performance, as well as company vehicle usage, maintenance, documentation and related incidents.
Attendance, Leave & Overtime Support – Provide backup support for factory attendance, leave and overtime verification and payroll-related information.
Outsourced Workers & Factory Meals – Coordinate worker headcount, meal arrangements and verification of outsourced manpower and meal vendor invoices.
Job Descriptions & Organisation Structure – Maintain factory Job Descriptions, Organisation Charts, reporting structures and manpower records.
Factory Administration & Expenses – Monitor factory utilities, services, bills, vendors and administrative expenses.
Licences & Compliance – Assist in maintaining factory licences, permits, certificates and records, and coordinate with government authorities during inspections or audits.
Employee Welfare & Communication – Support employee welfare activities, HR communications, briefings, onboarding and offboarding.
HR Records & Reporting – Maintain accurate and confidential HR/administrative records and prepare manpower, HR and management reports.
Team Support & Ad Hoc Duties – Work closely with the Factory HR & Admin Executive and Head Office HR team, provide backup support and assist the HR & Admin Manager and Management on special projects and other assigned matters.
Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
5–8 years of relevant HR & Administration experience, preferably in a manufacturing/factory environment.
Good knowledge of employee relations, disciplinary procedures, recruitment and foreign worker administration.
Experience in managing factory workers, hostel, security, company vehicles and general factory administration will be an advantage.
Familiar with Malaysian employment requirements and HR practices.
Good communication, interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently, handle confidential matters and deal effectively with employees at different levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/attendance systems.
Willing to be based at the factory in Pulau Indah, Klang.
Willing to work 5.5 days per week
