Job summary

Regent is seeking a Head of Department - Housekeeping to lead day-to-day operations at the resort in Malaysia. You will ensure guest rooms, suites, and public areas meet Regent's standards, while mentoring and guiding the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role emphasizes Regent Service Style, teamwork, and a proactive attitude to maintain high quality. Fluency in English and at least four years in housekeeping with supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree or diploma in hospitality; four years of housekeeping experience including supervisory training.
• Must speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Attend morning briefing.
• Manage calls to the Housekeeping Coordinator Desk and convey messages.
• Receive, record, and transmit guest requests accurately.
• Maintain records related to day-to-day housekeeping operations.
• Report guest complaints to Housekeeping Manager for follow-up.
• Maintain and control department keys and room master key cards.
• Prepare monthly reports for minibar, laundry, dry-cleaning and other sales.
• Lead and supervise housekeeping team to ensure consistency and quality.
