Private Advertiser invites a diligent Household Supervisor to oversee operations at a private residence in Malaysia. You will supervise staff, coordinate housekeeping, and manage maintenance and kitchen affairs to uphold a high standard of living.

The role requires minimum 5 years of experience in private household management or luxury hospitality, with 2–3 years supervisory exposure. Ability to communicate clearly and work flexibly is essential.

Household Supervisor/ Private Residence Supervisor

Household Operations – Oversee daily activities across all the residence and ensure the residence is maintained to a high standard.

Staff Supervision – Manage domestic helpers, cleaners, gardeners and other household workers, including duty rosters, work assignments, attendance and performance.

Housekeeping Standards – Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, kitchens and facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep.

Maintenance Coordination – Liaise with technicians, contractors and service providers for repairs and preventive maintenance.

Food & Kitchen Arrangements – Coordinate meal preparation, groceries, kitchen hygiene and menus. Assist with basic cooking when required.

Inventory & Purchasing – Monitor household supplies, groceries, equipment and other necessities, including basic expenditure records.

Guest Arrangements – Coordinate household hospitality, visitors, family functions and special occasions.

Reporting – Provide regular updates on household operations, staffing matters, maintenance issues and expenses.

Confidentiality – Maintain strict confidentiality concerning the employer, family members, residence and personal matters.

QUALIFICATION:

Minimum SPM or equivalent. Candidates with relevant certificates or qualifications in hospitality, housekeeping or related fields will have an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIRED:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in private household management, luxury hospitality, housekeeping management or villa operations.

Preferable 2–3 years of supervisory experience.

Good knowledge of housekeeping standards, staff scheduling and basic household maintenance.

Basic knowledge of cooking, food preparation and kitchen hygiene.

Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Able to communicate effectively with household staff and the employer.

Trustworthy, discreet, responsible and capable of working independently.

Willing to work flexible hours based on household operational needs, with agreed working and rest arrangements.
