Job summary

The Prestige Hotel in Penang is seeking a sales professional to represent the hotel’s services to clients and manage a client portfolio. You will plan sales calls, identify opportunities, and initiate new leads while coordinating with Reservations, F&B and Culinary teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will respond to inquiries for rooms, meetings spaces and F&B, conduct site visits, and prepare proposals and contracts adhering to SOPs and pricing conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Represents the hotel’s services and facilities to prospective and existing clients.
• Manages a portfolio of clients according to designated account distribution.
• Plans for sales calls and reports findings and opportunities.
• Conducts routine telemarketing to identify new accounts.
• Initiates new sales, qualifies leads and solicits potential clients.
• Responds to sales inquiries for sleeping rooms, meeting space, F&B, etc.
• Performs property site visits and prepares proposals and contracts.
• Collaborates with Reservations, F&B and Culinary to create guest experiences.
• Executes and supports all sales-related activities.
• Maximises revenue to achieve monthly and annual targets.
