Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a friendly, responsible Hotel Receptionist / Front Desk to join our team at Palette Near SOGO KL Formerly Campbell Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. You will welcome guests, manage bookings, assist with check-in/check-out and respond to enquiries to create great guest experiences.

We look for someone with good Bahasa Malaysia and English communication, a customer-oriented attitude, and the ability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Able to work on a shift schedule including weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Friendly, patient, and customer-oriented personality.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and handle enquiries at the front desk
• Manage room bookings and accommodation arrangements
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and booking enquiries
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth guest stays
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist with payment collection and prepare daily sales reports
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor when required
