Job summary

Cititel Express Kota Kinabalu is seeking a Purchasing Officer to manage the end-to-end procurement process for the hotel, from requisitions to delivery, while negotiating terms with suppliers and maintaining accurate records.

Based in Kota Kinabalu, this full-time role collaborates with department heads to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of items, while exploring cost-saving opportunities and expanding the supplier base.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing process from requisitions to orders and tracking deliveries.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
• Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and research new suppliers to expand the vendor base and save costs.
