KiN Hospitality Malaysia Sdn Bhd – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking an accomplished Hotel Manager to lead the pre-opening and ongoing operations of a 5-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

The role reports directly to the CEO and carries full responsibility for property performance, guest experience and staff management, marking the most senior operational position at the hotel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in hotel management with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Luxury/intl hotel background preferred.
• Experience overseeing multiple departments with full-property oversight.
• Degree or professional qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-opening plan, operational setup and hotel launch.
• Establish organisational structure, manpower plan, SOPs, service standards and operating systems.
• Recruit, train and lead department heads and key team members.
• Directly oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security/Safety, Finance, HR, and Sales & Marketing.
• Manage budgets, financial controls, costs, revenue performance and operational KPIs.
• Ensure operational readiness, licensing, statutory compliance, safety and brand standards.
• Drive profitability, guest satisfaction, service quality and employee performance.
• Report property results, risks and priorities directly to the CEO.
• Independently manage daily hotel operations following the opening.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 years of progressive hotel-management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior property leadership role.
• Overseas hotel-management experience will be an advantage.
• Strong 5-star, luxury or international hotel background.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple departments with full-property oversight.
• Strong commercial, financial, leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Excellent command of English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage. Ability to converse in other language will be an advantage.
• Degree or professional qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business or a related discipline.
