Job summary

Maukerja Malaysia is seeking a friendly Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests at The Mines area. You will help with check-ins, reservations, and guest inquiries, delivering a welcoming experience.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service basics, good English and Bahasa Malaysia, and are willing to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Experience in hotel reception, customer service, retail, or hospitality is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and guest enquiries.
• Manage reservations and room availability.
• Process payments and issue receipts accurately.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and elevate issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate guest records and daily reports.
• Ensure the front desk and lobby are clean, organized, and presentable.
