Job summary

Destination Resorts and Hotels Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is hiring a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of hotel and resort development, refurbishment, and A&A projects, ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance within the approved schedule.

The role requires thorough planning, programming, coordination and cost control, acting as the principal liaison between the Company, consultants, contractors and operational teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building or related field.
• 8–10 years of project management experience in construction, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes and baseline schedules covering design, procurement and construction phases.
• Monitor progress against master schedule using critical path analysis and implement recovery measures.
• Coordinate sequencing of works, resources and milestones across multiple packages and disciplines.
• Prepare regular progress reports, look-ahead programmes and S-curves for management and stakeholders.
• Manage development, refurbishment and A&A projects from inception through handover and defects liability.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, interior designers and contractors to ensure smooth delivery.
• Review contracts, variations, instructions and claims in line with company procedures.
