Job summary

Hotel Grand Continental Langkawi is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support daily financial operations for the hotel. You will help maintain accurate records, coordinate invoices and payments, and assist with month-end and year-end reporting while ensuring confidentiality and timely documentation.

The role requires a diploma/degree in accounting and 2–3 years in a similar setting, with proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts and schedules.
• Support year-end financial statements and audit schedules.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate variances promptly.
• Process invoices, billing documents and payments to suppliers.
• Maintain well-organised records of invoices and receipts.
• Coordinate with departments to verify transactions and resolve queries.
• Prepare cash flow projections and highlight potential issues.
• Assist with budget preparation and budget-versus-actual reviews.
• Support month-end closing activities and related documentation.
