Job summary

UOA Hospitality in Cheras is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee the security team and safeguard guests, employees, and assets across hotel/residence premises. You will ensure compliance with security procedures and company policies and coordinate with authorities when required.

The role requires supervising daily security operations, maintaining incident reports, and ensuring discipline and grooming standards among officers.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations within hospitality or comparable settings.
• Strong knowledge of security procedures, emergency response and incident handling.
• Proven leadership and effective communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage a team.
• Physically fit and able to work night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily security team activities.
• Ensure adequate security coverage across the property (entrances, exits, public areas, car parks, restricted areas).
• Conduct regular patrols and security inspections.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, fire alarms and other systems.
• Record and report security incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and crises, including evacuations.
• Brief and roll call security officers daily; prepare duty rosters.
