Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead the Security team, supervise patrols, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and ensure incident reporting and investigation are carried out promptly.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Certificate in Security Management, 3–5 years security experience with 1–2 years in supervision, and strong leadership and communication skills to uphold hotel safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Security Management or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years security experience with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in hotel security operations and incident investigation is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CCTV operations, access control, and life safety procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Security team activities and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises and monitor security equipment.
• Maintain incident reports and coordinate with local authorities when required.
• Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of security staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations and SOPs.
