Job summary

MOXY Putrajaya is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Intern to support daily operations in maintaining guest rooms and public areas to Marriott and MOXY brand standards.

You will assist with room cleaning, linen management, and inventory, while collaborating with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to address guest requests and ensure service quality. This internship provides hands-on hospitality experience and growth within a global hotel brand.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for hospitality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Eager to gain hands-on operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Housekeeping team in maintaining guest rooms and public areas according to Marriott and Moxy brand standards.
• Assist with room cleaning, room preparation, and replenishment of guest amenities and supplies.
• Support linen, uniform, and laundry operations, including inventory monitoring and stock organization.
• Assist with room status updates and daily housekeeping administration.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure guest requests are addressed efficiently.
• Learn and support room inspection procedures to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment, storage rooms, and work areas in an organized manner.
• Assist with guest requests and service recovery opportunities when required.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
