Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending principles, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Results-oriented with a strong drive to meet sales targets.
• Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; other local languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients to understand mortgage needs and financial objectives.
• Advise on mortgage products including home loans and refinancing.
• Guide clients through the mortgage application process from inquiry to disbursement.
• Prepare and process mortgage applications per bank policies and regulations.
• Conduct financial assessments including income verification and credit checks.
• Develop a pipeline of mortgage leads through networking and campaigns.
• Cross-sell related bank products and services where appropriate.
• Address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing mortgage account support.
• Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes in mortgage industry.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to branch objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
