Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a Relationship Manager to build and maintain a portfolio of high-net-worth and corporate clients. You will understand clients' financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions across deposits, investments, loans, and wealth management, aiming to grow the book and deepen client engagement.

You will identify prospects, onboard new clients, manage risk, and work with product specialists and credit analysts to present compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 1–2 years in relationship management within banking/financial services.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia.
• Industry certifications (e.g., FIMM, SC licenses) are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, acquire and onboard high-net-worth or corporate clients.
• Grow and manage a portfolio with high client satisfaction and retention.
• Perform financial needs analysis and provide tailored advice across deposits, investments, loans and wealth management.
• Collaborate with product specialists, credit analysts and other stakeholders to deliver holistic solutions.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Prepare financial proposals, conduct client reviews and manage expectations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate client records in the bank's systems.
