Job summary

Sealtik M&E Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee core infrastructure projects in telecommunications, street lighting, and TNB-related works. The role involves managing supply applications, design and installation planning, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience with project coordination, site supervision, and producing technical drawings and reports for client approvals.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Experience overseeing telecommunications infrastructure, street lighting, and power/TNB-related projects.
• Familiarity with local authority guidelines (TNB, JKR, MCMC) and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end TNB supply application processes, including submission of technical documentation and coordination with TNB engineers for power turn-on and meter installation.
• Design, plan, and supervise power system installations, fiber optic conduits, BTS power integrations, and backup power setups (UPS/generators).
• Manage street lighting developments, including feeder pillar designs, underground cabling, LV distribution boards, and smart LED lighting controls.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with local authority guidelines and national electrical safety standards.
• Prepare engineering drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and site reports for TNB submittals and client approvals.
