Job summary

DayOne Data Centers at the NTP Campus (JB) is seeking a High Voltage Chargeman (Shift) to join our full-time team. You will perform electrical switching, isolation, and testing, conduct substation checks, and lead MV generator routine tests across the campus.

The ideal candidate holds a valid B0-11kV Chargeman certificate, with 3+ years’ hands-on experience in electrical systems, and the ability to supervise technicians while maintaining strict safety and LOTO compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid B0-11kV Chargeman certificate required.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of UPS, switchgear, grounding systems, generators and related infra.
• Ability to supervise and guide technicians.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and LOTO practices.
• Willing to work on a 12 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical switching, isolation and testing per licensing and safety standards.
• Conduct round checks at all incoming substations campus-wide.
• Lead MV generator routine tests per Preventive Maintenance plan.
• Assist with troubleshooting and fault diagnostics on electrical equipment campus-wide.
• Lead and support emergency response during incidents.
• Support DC Ops/contractors to enter MV Power Module.
• Collaborate with engineers and contribute to MOP & SOP development for electrical system.
• Ensure Chargeman certification is valid and registered with Energy Commission under DayOne.
