DayOne Data Centers Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced electrical technician to maintain and test critical power systems across the campus.

You will perform switching, isolation, and routine checks on MV equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role requires a valid B0-11kV Chargeman certificate, 3+ years of hands-on experience, and the ability to supervise technicians. A willingness to work a 12-hour shift and respond to incidents is essential for reliable

Qualifications

• Valid B0-11kV Chargeman certificate.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of UPS, switchgear, grounding, generators.
• Ability to supervise and guide technicians.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and LOTO practices.
• Willing to work on a 12 hour shift.

Responsabilités

• Perform electrical switching, isolation, and testing in line with licensing and safety standards.
• Conduct round checks at all incoming substations campus-wide.
• Lead MV generator routine tests per Preventive Maintenance plan.
• Support troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on electrical equipment campus-wide.
• Lead emergency response during incidents; coordinate with DC Ops/contractors to enter MV Power Module.
• Collaborate with engineers and advise on MOP & SOP development for electrical systems.
• Ensure Chargeman certification is valid and registered with Energy Commission under DayOne.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical switching, isolation, and testing in accordance with licensing requirements and safety standards.
• Conduct round checks at all incoming substations (CLS) Campus wide.
• Lead all MV generator routine test run as per Preventive Maintenance plan.
• Support and assist with critical troubleshooting work and fault diagnostic on all electrical equipment Campus wide.
• Lead and support emergency response during incidents. Support and accompany DC Ops/ contractors to enter MV Power Module.
• Work closely with engineers and advise with MOP & SOP development for electrical system.
• Ensure their Chargeman certification is valid and registered with Energy Commission under DayOne.

Candidate Requirements

• At least a valid B0-11kV Chargeman certificate.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in in electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of UPS, switchgear, grounding systems, generators, and other electrical infrastructure
• Ability to supervise and guide technicians.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and LOTO practices. Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
• Willing to work on a 12 hour shift.
