DayOne Data Centers Malaysia I Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced electrical professional to join our expanding team.

You will maintain high‑voltage electrical infrastructure, supervise technicians, and ensure safety and reliability across campus facilities. Responsibilities include switching, inspections, routine generator testing, incident response, and collaboration with engineers to develop SOPs. A valid B0-11kV Chargeman certificate and 3+ years of hands‑on electrical experience are

Qualifications

• At least a valid B0-11kV Chargeman certificate.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of UPS, switchgear, grounding systems, generators, and other electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to supervise and guide technicians.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and LOTO practices.
• Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
• Willing to work on a 12 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical switching, isolation, and testing in line with licensing requirements and safety standards.
• Conduct round checks at all incoming substations (CLS) Campus wide.
• Lead all MV generator routine test run as per Preventive Maintenance plan.
• Support and assist with critical troubleshooting work and fault diagnostic on all electrical equipment Campus wide.
• Lead and support emergency response during incidents.
• Support and accompany DC Ops/ contractors to enter MV Power Module.
• Work closely with engineers and advise with MOP & SOP development for electrical system.
• Ensure their Chargeman certification is valid and registered with Energy Commission under DayOne.
