北京汉克时代科技有限公司 seeks a qualified optical module test engineer to lead NPI and production testing at our Malaysia plant. You will design test schemes for firmware, EEPROM, and module performance, and manage automated test platforms and calibration procedures for oscilloscopes, BERTs, and spectrum analyzers.
The role requires 3+ years in optical module testing and strong data-analysis capabilities, with cross-functional teamwork to drive product improvements and ensure industry-standard compliance
Conduct NPI testing, production testing and reliability validation for high‑speed optical modules (400G/800G/1.6T, etc.) to ensure product performance complies with industry standards and customer specifications.
Design and execute test schemes; formulate and implement test plans for optical module functions (Firmware, EEPROM), performance and compatibility testing.
Set up and maintain test systems; build automated test platforms and develop maintenance & calibration procedures for test equipment including oscilloscopes, BERTs, optical spectrum analyzers, optical power meters, optical switches and temperature controllers.
Perform test data analysis and issue troubleshooting: analyze test data, generate test reports, determine product acceptance criteria, conduct root‑cause analysis for test anomalies, and assist R&D teams in fault localization and product improvement.
Be familiar with industry standards such as IEEE 802.3, ITU‑T, and SFF/SFP/QSFP‑DD MSA.
Cross‑department collaboration: coordinate with the R&D department for NPI verification of new products; work with production teams to optimize mass‑production test workflows and improve production yield.
Complete other ad‑hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.
Bachelor’s degree or above; outstanding candidates with college diploma will also be considered. Majors in Optical Engineering, Optoelectronic Technology, Communication Engineering, Electronic Information or related fields are preferred.
Be stationed at the manufacturing plant in Malaysia; familiar with local working environment and culture. Prior working experience in Chinese‑funded enterprises is preferred.
Minimum 3‑year working experience in optical module testing; hands‑on experience with 400G/800G/1.6T high‑speed optical modules is preferred.
Proficient in operating common test instruments: sampling oscilloscopes, BERTs, optical spectrum analyzers, optical power meters, optical switches, etc.
Strong data‑analysis capability and data awareness; capable of independently preparing test reports and documentation.
Fluency (full listening, speaking, reading & writing) in Chinese, English and Malay is a plus.
Self‑motivated, highly responsible, rigorous at work, with solid teamwork and cross‑functional communication skills.
