Job summary

Pembinaan Bintang Baru Sdn Bhd is seeking a site professional to support the Project Manager in monitoring schedules and site progress at KL projects. You will supervise Architectural and C&S works, read and interpret drawings, and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth site operations.

Responsibilities include preparing RFIs, progress reports, and site memos, liaising with Purchasing and Contract departments to control wastage, and coordinating with the M&E

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 2–5 years site experience in architectural and/or C&S works.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Willing to work in KL & Kuching (Sarawak).

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring project schedule and site progress.
• Supervise Architectural and C&S works including structural, finishing, and coordination.
• Check drawings and issue RFI to consultants for discrepancies.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for smooth site ops.
• Monitor concrete works, piling, and material deliveries including lorry scheduling.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality with specs and QLASSIC.
• Attend weekly and coordination meetings with site team and subcontractors.
• Prepare site docs: RFI, memos, progress reports, claims, submissions.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Contract to ensure approved materials and control wastage.
• Liaise with M&E team to resolve interface and site issues.
• Monitor defect rectification and back charges to subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO 9001 requirements.
