Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled machinery operator to ensure all equipment runs smoothly and safely on site. The role includes maintaining cleanliness, reporting damages, and preparing daily site progress updates.

You will operate multiple machines, uphold high-quality pavement standards, and strictly follow HSE guidelines to minimise defects and rework. Diesel use will be tracked monthly as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Class H & I driving licences.
• Proven experience in maintaining and operating various types of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all machinery operates in optimal condition to achieve maximum output and meet the technical requirements set by clients or consultants.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles and machinery at all times.
• Immediately report any vehicle or machinery damage.
• Supervise work in the absence of the supervisor.
• Assist the supervisor in preparing daily site progress reports.
• Ensure machinery is prepared and ready before starting work.
• Operate more than three types of machinery competently.
• Maintain high-quality pavement work.
• Ensure no defects or rework are caused by machine operation.
• Adhere to Safe Working Practices and comply with HSE requirements.
• Submit monthly machinery reports to the Logistics and Machinery Department.
• Record daily diesel consumption for each piece of machinery.
