Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking personnel to perform post machining operations according to standard routers, plans, and QMS documents. The role includes maintaining equipment, adjusting process parameters, and adhering to 5S and PPE requirements.

The candidate will read applicable documents to measure parts, operate multiple machines if cycles are long, and ensure timely task completion while keeping the work area clean and compliant with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform all post machining operations based on Job router, Inspection Plan, and QMS document in order to deliver quality products.
• Ensure that regular maintenance is conducted in a planned and timely manner, providing all required work and maintenance reporting.
• Perform adjustment on process parameters in order to achieve desired output.
• Wear PPE (personal protective equipment) while operating the process with hazards, or it may affect our health.
• Read and understand applicable documents in order to measure the workpiece as per the expected measuring technique.
• Able to operate multiple machines if the cycle time for each machine is long.
• Responsible for keeping the equipment and surrounding areas clean and tidy (5S) and working correctly on the shift basis.
• Bar end/off cut/defective material must be disposed of as per QMS requirements, and it is not allowed to be kept in the bin of good products.
• All accessories, small tools, abrasive media, measurement equipment, and materials must be kept in an organized and proper area to prevent missing, damage, and dropping or heavy scratches on the parts.
• If emergency leave is needed, must contact superior prior to the date or time.
• Follow work instructions from the superior and be able to complete the task on time (as per cycle time or target assigned).
