Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking an IT Systems Technician to ensure the stability and reliability of critical medical IT platforms, including HITS, KCIS, EMRA and INFINITT PACS. You will perform hardware maintenance, software upgrades and data backups in a healthcare setting.

The role requires a Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science and a strong awareness of healthcare IT regulations and data privacy.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of healthcare IT regulations and data privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability and reliability of HITS, KCIS, EMRA, and INFINITT PACS.
• Maintain good condition of HITS, KCIS, and INFINITT PACS systems.
• Perform electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
• Backup user’s data and support hardware/software upgrades.
• Collaborate with IT supplier for repairs and replacements.
• Monitor and implement cybersecurity measures and data protection protocols.
• Advise staff on security changes and password status.
• Arrange and monitor equipment for training and seminars.
