Job summary

Mahkota Medical Centre Sdn Bhd in Malacca is seeking an Information Technology Executive to provide front-line technical support across the organization. You will resolve hardware, software, and network issues and ensure users can continue to work without disruption.

The role involves logging incidents, creating and tracking tickets, assisting with system updates, and coordinating with procurement to order the right hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in IT support or related fields, preferably in healthcare.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT Service Desk operations is preferred.
• Ability to work extra hours especially during project implementation, company events and on Saturday rotation schedule.
• Effective people and good team player, ability to communicate and work with all levels of staff across organization.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist with system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and performance.
• Maintain a centralized IT asset inventory using tools such as ManageEngine.
• Log and categorize incidents received through phone, email, chat, or self-service portal.
• Create and track support tickets with clear, accurate updates.
• Install and configure hardware (desktops, laptops, printers) and software (applications, operating systems) for users.
• Manage service request, IT incident management, problem management and change management.
• Provide first level technical support locally or remotely.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the correct hardware and software are ordered in line with organizational needs.
