Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad is seeking a Head of Supply Chain Product for Trade within Group Transaction Banking. The role focuses on developing and commercialising supply chain solutions, driving growth, and enhancing digital capabilities while adhering to risk, regulatory, and Shariah requirements.

The incumbent will collaborate with multiple corporate functions to deliver scalable products, oversee the product lifecycle, and lead a team to achieve revenue and portfolio targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking or a related discipline.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Solution, Trade Finance, Transaction Banking or Structured Working Capital.
• Strong track record in developing and commercialising Supply Chain solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in structuring complex working capital and Supply Chain transactions.
• Strong understanding of trade finance and supply chain solutioning products, risk considerations and operational processes.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to translate market opportunities into scalable and profitable products.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute BIMB's Supply Chain product strategy in line with BIMB's overall Transaction Banking and Trade Finance strategy
• Identify market opportunities and develop new Supply Chain Solutions to address evolving client and ecosystem requirements
• Own the product lifecycle, from conceptualisation and business case development through implementation, commercialisation and continuous enhancement
• Partner with Trade & Supply Chain Advisory team and Relationship Managers to identify and convert Supply Chain opportunities
• Provide product expertise and structuring support for complex and strategic transactions
• Drive product revenue, profitability, utilisation and portfolio growth in line with approved business targets
• Lead the digitalisation of Supply Chain products and processes and drive automation and straight-through processing
• Ensure all Supply Chain products and processes comply with BIMB's risk appetite, policies, regulatory requirements and Shariah principles
• Monitor market trends, competitor propositions, pricing and emerging Supply Chain solutions
• Lead and develop the Supply Chain Product team to build strong product, structuring and commercial capabilities

Head, Supply Chain Product, Trade, Group Transaction Banking

The Head, Supply Chain Product is responsible for driving sustainable business growth and strengthening BIMB's Supply Chain Solutions franchise through product development, commercialisation, portfolio performance, innovation and digital enablement. The role will lead the development and enhancement of BIMB's Supply Chain proposition, ensuring that products are commercially competitive, scalable, digitally enabled and aligned with BIMB's risk appetite, regulatory requirements and Shariah principles. The incumbent will work closely with Trade & Supply Chain Advisory, Corporate Banking, Business Banking, Risk, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Finance and other relevant stakeholders to drive sustainable business growth, profitability and client value.

About you
