Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a Process Engineer to evaluate process capability for new packages, materials and machines, and to craft technical solutions that keep production ready.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Process Engineering or relevant discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry.
Experience with 5S implementation and enforcing discipline in work areas.
Ability to coordinate cross-training for engineers, technicians and production assistants.

Responsibilities

Evaluate process capability for new package, material and machine to ensure production worthiness.
Provide technical solutions to process issues.
Coordinate cross training and ensure proper usage of materials.
Communicate changes in process and procedures to engineers/technicians and ensure compliance.
Lead shift handover and provide feedback to supervisors.
Develop yield, quality and productivity improvement initiatives.
Review and ensure compliance to customer specifications.
Lead root cause analysis and ensure data integrity.
