Job summary

Carsem Technology Center seeks a results-oriented leader to drive strategic initiatives for developing and commercializing innovative technologies and roadmaps. You will manage patent procedures, interface with customers on new products, and lead cross-functional teams to accelerate time-to-market while controlling costs.

Bachelor's in a relevant field; advanced qualifications are a plus. Senior experience in R&D, semiconductor packaging, and product development is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Advanced technical or business qualifications are a plus.
• Significant experience in R&D, semiconductor packaging, product development or technology development.
• Strong track record leading new product development from concept through qualification to mass production.
• Experience engaging with customers on technical and product development matters.
• Experience managing R&D budgets, resources, technology investments and commercialization activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives for developing and commercializing innovative technologies and roadmaps.
• Drive leadership to build internal capabilities and reduce materials cost through value-engineering.
• Provide direction on strategies for Carsem Technology Center Programs.
• Interface with customers on new products, materials, and process development focusing on speed and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and manage products and design teams for fast time-to-market at optimum cost.
• Oversee patent procedures for Carsem M-site and S-site and protect IP.
