Job summary

Hartalega in Malaysia seeks an experienced Security Manager to oversee the company’s overall security and safety programs. You will coordinate security operations, enforce procedures, and ensure compliance with laws and internal standards.

You will lead recruitment and training of security personnel, conduct audits, review misconduct, and liaise with external security providers. A Bachelor degree and at least 2 years in security are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of relevant security experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage security operations and safety activities to comply with regulatory and company standards
• Implement and enforce effective security measures and procedures
• Identify gaps in security operations and recommend improvements
• Mitigate risks and threats to personnel, assets, and information
• Review and upscale work orders to the Facility Department for maintenance or repair
• Respond to onsite security issues, monitor resolution, and review misconduct reports for escalation
• Supervise recruitment, selection, and governance of security personnel, including background checks
• Develop and conduct training and induction programs for all security personnel
• Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with laws and social regulations
• Maintain proper documentation of forms, reports, checklists, and other security records
