Job summary

Hartalega Holdings Berhad is seeking an Executive - Local HR (Security Operations) to manage the overall security of the company, oversee recruitment and training of security personnel, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves coordinating security operations, implementing procedures, and conducting security audits.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree and up to 1 year of relevant experience, with strong coordination and enforcement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in any discipline.
• Fresh graduate or minimum 1 year of relevant working experience preferred.
• Capable of proposing, implementing, and enforcing security procedures.
• Involved in recruitment, selection, training, development, motivation, and discipline of security guards.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to overall security operations.
• Effectively coordinate and liaise with Security Companies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage security operations and safety activities to comply with regulatory and company standards.
• Implement and enforce effective security measures and procedures.
• Identify gaps in security operations and recommend improvements.
• Mitigate risks and threats to personnel, assets, and information.
• Review and elevate work orders to the Facility Department for maintenance or repair.
• Respond to onsite security issues, monitor resolution, and review misconduct reports for escalation.
• Supervise recruitment, selection, and governance of security personnel, including background checks.
• Develop and conduct training and induction programs for all security personnel.
• Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with laws and social regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of forms, reports, checklists, and other security records.
