Job summary

JAC Recruitment is seeking a Sales Manager for Malaysia to lead retail sales growth and build a high-performing team across nationwide channels. The role focuses on developing strategic sales plans, expanding market reach, and forging partnerships to drive revenue in health and wellness products.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in retail sales or business development with managerial experience, strong leadership and negotiation skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (added advantage).
• Minimum 5 years in retail sales or business development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in sales growth, business development, or creating profitable sales channels.
• Experience recruiting, developing, and leading retail sales teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in big-ticket retail or consumer durables (e.g., massage chairs, wellness equipment, furniture, electronics, or home appliances) is highly preferred.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.
• Build and lead a sales team from the ground up, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Monitor sales results and guide the team toward continuous improvement.
• Identify new sales channels beyond existing retail outlets and establish partnerships.
• Prepare business proposals, sales forecasts, and performance reports for management.
• Maintain effective communication between management and outlet teams and foster a positive culture.
• Perform ad hoc duties assigned by Management.
