Job Summary

Leads and directs a team who are responsible for medium to high complexity and exposure claims and/or Claims Managers. Serves as a SME to the underwriting team regarding product developments or enhancements to provide guidance and ensure compliance with the regulatory policies. Has responsibility for performance, development, coaching of management staff and drives employee development and operational improvements.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

• Drive claims performance by providing technical leadership, monitoring key metrics, and ensuring quality claim outcomes.


• Build strong relationships with customers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to achieve service excellence and customer satisfaction targets.


• Analyze claims trends and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and best practices.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal governance requirements while maintaining strict confidentiality.


• Support business growth by providing claims insights for product development, customer engagements, and broker stewardship activities.


• Lead, coach, and develop the claims team through performance management, regular feedback, and capability-building initiatives.


• Manage departmental expenses and resources effectively to support business objectives.


• Champion continuous improvement and contribute to strategic projects across the organization.
