AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a senior Talent Management professional to implement and sustain global TM and TM development at the Kulim site.
You will align local leadership programs with global standards, drive adoption of TM initiatives, and partner with Global TM on company-wide projects to ensure consistency and direction.
Implement and sustain global Talent Management and Talent Development processes at the Kulim site.
Ensure compliance with global standards, frameworks, policies, and governance requirements.
Align local leadership programs with global programs, ensuring they are an enhancement, not an overlap.
Act as the local subject matter expert for Talent Management processes and tools.
Drive adoption and continuous improvement of talent initiatives.
Collaborate with Global TM on companywide initiatives and collaboration projects ensuring consistency and a common direction.
2. Talent Management
Lead annual talent review and succession planning processes.
Identify critical roles and talent risks.
Build and maintain succession pipelines for key and critical positions.
Partner with business leaders to identify, assess, and develop high-potential employees.
Monitor talent KPIs and provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
Drive leadership capability building across all leadership levels.
Ensure implementation of global leadership programs, workshops, coaching initiatives, and leadership principles.
Support leaders in conducting development discussions and providing meaningful feedback.
Promote and hold leaders accountable for leadership consistency and excellence across the site
Ensure learning and development solutions are available for all employee groups.
Conduct learning needs analyses with business leaders and HRBPs.
Oversee local training plans and development roadmaps.
Ensure completion and effectiveness of mandated leadership, compliance, technical, and professional development programs.
Drive utilization of global learning platforms and development resources.
5. Career Development & Internal Mobility
Support implementation of career paths, job frameworks, competency models, and skills frameworks.
Promote employee growth through development planning and internal career opportunities.
Partner with HRBPs and leaders to facilitate development dialogues and career discussions.
Increase internal mobility and readiness for future business needs.
6. Performance & Development Processes
Support deployment and adoption of performance management processes in line with the global process and tools.
Ensure managers conduct quality goal-setting, development discussions, mid-year reviews, and year-end evaluations.
Drive a performance and development culture focused on accountability and continuous growth.
7. Strategic Workforce & Skills Planning
Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to identify future capability and skill needs.
Support workforce planning through talent pipeline analysis and development planning.
Identify critical skills gaps and recommend development interventions.
Ensure talent risks are proactively identified and managed.
8. Stakeholder & HRBP Partnership
Serve as a strategic partner to HRBPs and business leaders.
Collaborate with the Global TM function on the TM strategy and initiatives.
Coach leaders on talent decisions and development priorities.
Align talent initiatives with business objectives and growth plans.
Provide regular reporting and updates to site and global leadership teams.
Your Profile
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8-10 years of progressive Talent Management experience in multinational and manufacturing environments.
Broad HR experience across talent management, learning and development and employee relations.
Experience partnering with senior Plant Leadership teams.
Management Experience Requirements:
Several years of people leadership experience managing HR teams, specialists, or multidisciplinary HR functions.
Skill and Competency Requirements:
Demonstrates strong business acumen and understanding of manufacturing operations
Demonstrates strong leadership coaching and management development capabilities
Leads and develops high-performing HR teams and individuals effectively
