AT&S AUSTRIA TECHNOLOGIE & SYSTEMTECHNIK (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. seeks a facilities engineer to ensure CRM reliability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in its Kulim, Malaysia operations. You will monitor APC systems, support projects, and lead audits from a CRM perspective.
The role requires hands-on maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in cleanroom facilities. Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you drive cross-functional initiatives.
Responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement of Cleanroom Monitoring (CRM) systems and facilities by maintaining process stability, supporting projects, managing audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading technical problem-solving activities.
Monitor and maintain APC systems in the cleanroom, ensuring immediate response and troubleshooting of OOC/OOS events.
Support service and project execution to ensure projects are completed on time and operate effectively.
Ensure measurement and monitoring equipment remain compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Act as the owner and key contact for all internal and external audits related to CRM.
Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable engineering solutions using data-driven methodologies.
Support qualification, expansion, ramp-up, and release activities for new products, processes, and equipment from a CRM perspective.
Develop and execute competency and training plans for technical teams.
Manage risk assessments, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, and process stability.
Manage suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality service delivery.
Coordinate plant modifications, facility improvements, documentation, layouts, and maintenance procedures.
Ensure compliance with EHS, safety, environmental, and company regulations.
Collaborate across departments while independently driving CRM activities with minimal supervision.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in a similar role.
Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage.
Strong technical knowledge of clean room facilities / systems.
Hands-on maintenance and operational troubleshooting experience.
Good project management and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and English proficiency.
Strong teamwork, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
