Job summary

AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. offers an entry-level engineering role focused on developing, optimizing, and stabilizing semiconductor manufacturing processes.

You will identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and work with Production, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure smooth product launches and ramp‑ups. You will perform process capability studies, yield analyses, and drive continuous improvement while documenting processes and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with engineering/science degree.
• Knowledge of quality tools (8D, SPC, MSA, DOE, FMEA, JMP).
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills; capable of working under pressure.

Summary of Position & Key Responsibilities:

Support the development, optimization, and stabilization of manufacturing processes.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process-related issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth product launch and ramp-up.

Perform process capability studies, yield analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Provide technical support to production in daily operations, ensuring minimal downtime and scrap.

Participate in cost reduction, automation, and productivity improvement projects.

Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO).

Your Profile

• Fresh graduate Bachelor's Degree / Master Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent
• Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Semiconductor Physics
