Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Production & Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient use of manpower, machines and materials while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will lead master planning to meet delivery dates, analyze incidents, optimize workloads on the production lines, collaborate with engineering for maintenance, train teams, and ensure compliance with Halal, GMP, HACCP, and all statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• At least a degree or higher, preferably in a manufacturing- or food science-related course.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills; lead meetings.
• Resilience and strong influencing skills with strategic thinking under pressure.
• Ability to work independently with flexibility and a good attitude.
• Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple large-scale projects.
• Extensive knowledge of production in industry line, systems and compliance standards.
• Willingness to be based in Pulau Indah, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall manufacturing processes to ensure availability, efficiency and effective use of resources.
• Strategize and direct master planning of production activities to meet delivery dates.
• Review manpower deployment and production practices to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Track and review man-hours per production line and take countermeasures.
• Collaborate with engineering for maintenance and improvement projects.
• Train and upgrade production staff to achieve optimum productivity.
• Ensure compliance with Halal, GMP, HACCP, DOSH, DOE and other regulations.
• Assist in production planning, resource balancing and capability development.
• Support R&D initiatives to improve recipes, reduce costs and new products.
• Establish department structure with procedures, SOPs, procurement, reports.
• Work with departments to eliminate problems and maintain high quality.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
• Carry out other duties as directed by Management.
