Job summary

OCBC Group in Malaysia invites applications for a senior leadership role overseeing EmB Collections, Recovery and Credit Risk management. You will drive end-to-end collections strategies, manage delinquency portfolios, and lead a high-performing team to meet recovery targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years in collections or credit risk, strong people leadership, and proven ability to negotiate with solicitors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of collections, recovery management and end-to-end resolution of banking products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end EmB Collections portfolio across delinquency stages.
• Drive achievement of recovery targets, NPL levels, SP budgets and KPIs.
• Develop and implement collection and recovery strategies including litigation and collateral realisation.
• Oversee restructuring and repayment arrangements with timely execution and customer engagement.
• Manage auction, valuation and post-auction activities and collateral records.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
• Lead, coach and develop team, managing stakeholder relationships and performance.
