Maxis in Kuala Lumpur seeks a strategic leader to define and execute the network, cloud, and infrastructure strategy in alignment with IT and business roadmaps. You will drive architecture standards, oversee 24x7 operations, and partner with cybersecurity and application teams to deliver cohesive, secure solutions.

The role includes capacity planning, modernization efforts, disaster recovery, and FinOps-focused cost management with an emphasis on high availability and performance of enterprise

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the network and cloud infrastructure strategy, aligned with IT and business roadmaps
• Lead infrastructure architecture, including network, compute, storage, cloud, and connectivity standards
• Oversee capacity planning, demand forecasting, and technology lifecycle management
• Drive migration and modernization initiatives (on-prem → cloud, hybrid, multi-cloud)
• Partner with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and application teams to ensure cohesive solutions
• Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of network and cloud platforms
• Oversee operations of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, and telecom services; data centers and hosting platforms
• Manage 24x7 operational support, incident, problem, and change management; own uptime and KPIs
• Work with cybersecurity to embed security-by-design and ensure regulatory compliance
• Lead infrastructure aspects of disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience testing
• Manage vendor relationships, cloud providers, telcos, and system integrators; drive sourcing and contract negotiations
