Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an IT Strategy Architect to define and govern enterprise technology strategy for a leading insurance organization in Kuala Lumpur. You will shape cloud transformation, data platforms, security architecture, and regulatory compliance, partnering with C-level leaders and business units to align IT with business outcomes.

You will drive modernization across policy admin, claims, underwriting, and analytics, while mentoring engineers and guiding governance, risk, and resilience

Qualifications

• Strong experience with enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience designing cloud-native, microservices and event-driven architectures.
• deep understanding of insurance core systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise IT strategy, roadmap and architecture blueprints.
• Align IT initiatives with insurance business priorities and regulatory needs.
• Lead cloud adoption and modernization across AWS, OCI, and hybrid environments.
• Establish governance, standards and review processes for architecture.
• Collaborate with C-suite and product owners to translate strategy into execution.
• Mentor architects and engineers; drive workshops and design reviews.
• Communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders; ensure resilience and security.
