Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced manufacturing leader to oversee end-to-end assembly operations in a high-mix, high-volume semiconductor environment. You will manage multiple production lines, drive throughput, and ensure targets on quality, cost, and delivery are met across FOL, EOL, and backend processes.

This role requires 15–20 years in semiconductor manufacturing with 8–10 years in senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large manufacturing teams across multiple lines
• Lean/Six Sigma exposure is a plus

• Partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain to ensure seamless operations

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead end-to-end assembly operations covering FOL and EOL processes

• Oversee multiple production lines to ensure optimal throughput, efficiency, and utilization

• Drive achievement of production targets across quality, cost, and delivery metrics

Strategic & Performance Management

• Develop and execute assembly operations strategies aligned with business and customer needs

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to enhance productivity and reduce cost

• Monitor and improve key performance indicators across manufacturing operations

Manufacturing Excellence

• Champion best practices in high-mix, high-volume semiconductor manufacturing

• Optimize assembly processes to improve yield, cycle time, and cost efficiency

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry requirements

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop large manufacturing teams across multiple functional levels

• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement

• Strengthen organizational capabilities to support business growth and scalability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations

• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process transfer activities

• Align with test and backend operations to ensure end-to-end manufacturing success

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key operational interface for global customers

• Ensure alignment with customer expectations on delivery, quality, and responsiveness

• Support customer audits and drive operational credibility

Qualifications & Experience

Experience

• 15-20 years of experience in:

  • Semiconductor manufacturing

  • OSAT FOL & EOL & backend operations

  • High-volume manufacturing environments

• Minimum 8-10 years in senior leadership or management roles

Operational Expertise

• Strong experience managing:

  • FOL and EOL assembly operations

  • Large manufacturing teams

  • Multiple production lines

  • High-mix / high-volume production environments

• Proven ability to meet global customer requirements and expectations
